Wesley Sneijder has claimed that he will approach Galatasaray's game with Chelsea on Wednesday full of respect for visiting manager Jose Mourinho.
The Dutch midfielder enjoyed success with Mourinho at Inter Milan, who won the treble while both were present at the San Siro in 2010.
"Well, what can I say about him? We won this cup together," Sneijder told journalists at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
"Tomorrow is completely different though. Of course we are friends outside the pitch but tomorrow for 90 minutes we will not be friends. I respect him a lot as we all respect him and respect Chelsea. We want to go for the victory but with respect.
"Of course I have some special feelings with Mourinho because we won the treble and had a great year together."
Mourinho left Inter in 2010 to join Real Madrid.
