UEFA have confirmed that suspended Chelsea captain John Terry will be permitted to lift the trophy and collect a winners' medal in Germany if the Blues defeat Bayern Munich in the Champions League final next month.
Official rules of the European governing body state that players who are banned from the final are not permitted to take part in the presentations ceremony, which should mean that the former England captain cannot lift the coveted trophy after being sent off in Chelsea's semi-final win over Barcelona this week.
Despite the ruling, UEFA have stated that the 31-year-old can take part in the celebrations as well as receive a winners' medal if the Blues overcome their German opponents at the Allianz Arena on May 19.
Meanwhile, Terry will be joined in the stands by Raul Meireles, Ramires and Branislav Ivanovic, who are all suspended for the final.
