Chelsea captain John Terry has admitted that he was honoured to reach the milestone of 100 Champions League appearances.
The Blues skipper was part of the side that beat Sporting Lisbon 1-0 on Tuesday evening.
Nemanja Matic's first-half header was enough for the visitors, and Terry talked up his delight after the game.
"There's not players who achieve that, so I'm very proud to reach that," he told Sky Sports News.
"I've had a great and successful career so far and for me, long may it continue. I'm feeling great at the moment, and I'm really honoured to reach that landmark with Chelsea.
"But is also up to myself to maintain my performances and stay in a very good side."
The win takes Chelsea top of Group G after Schalke 04 were held by Maribor.
