Atletico Madrid forward Fernando Torres has heaped praise on Chelsea's summer signing Alvaro Morata, describing his countryman as "one of the best strikers in Europe".
Morata, 24, has made a prolific start to his Blues career following his £60m arrival from Real Madrid, scoring six goals in six Premier League appearances to date, including a hat-trick against Stoke City last weekend.
Torres welcomes his former side to the Wanda Metropolitano in the Champions League tonight and thinks that a tough test awaits now that Morata is among the Chelsea ranks.
"I spoke with him before he joined Chelsea and told him I would be always on the phone if he needed any advice or if I could help him," Torres told The Mirror. "Looking at the start he has made it doesn't look like he needs any advice at all - already he is playing well and scoring goals.
"Chelsea have one of the best strikers in Europe - and I am sure he is going to win trophies with them.
"The Chelsea games will not be easy - there is a reason they are champions of England. They will be one of the teams that believe that are capable of winning the competition this season.
"The teams from England all look very strong this year - they all have quality players and I am sure there is belief among all of them."
Atletico go into tonight's game having being held to a goalless draw by Roma in their opener, while Chelsea are top of Group C after brushing aside Qarabag 6-0.
