England manager Roy Hodgson has praised the professionalism of John Terry at the European Championships.
Hodgson selected Terry over Rio Ferdinand and the Chelsea man has repaid the former West Brom manager's faith with some impressive performances in Poland and Ukraine.
"It is so important you choose the players you think are the right ones, that you work with them and get the experience for yourself," said Hodgson, 64.
"I can only talk about John and the four or five weeks I have been working with him.
"He has been a top-class professional and very good off the field as well."
Terry will line up in the centre of defence when the Three Lions take on Italy in the last quarter-final in Kiev this evening.
