Frank Lampard is believed to be in contention to represent Team GB at this summer's Olympics.
The FA has ruled that any player who represents England at Euro 2012 may not be considered for selection in Stuart Pearce's squad for the Games.
Lampard was withdrawn from the Three Lions party for the European Championships because of a thigh injury, but the 33-year-old is likely to have returned to fitness by the time Great Britain face Senegal in their Olympic opener on July 26.
Pearce is keen to include Lampard as one of his three over-23 players and Chelsea would be supportive of the player's inclusion, according to the Daily Mail.
The deadline for Olympic football squads to be named is July 6.
