Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has named Chelsea striker Diego Costa in his squad for the Euro 2016 qualifiers with Slovakia and Luxembourg.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had stressed that the 25-year-old needed to sit out international duty to rest a troublesome hamstring problem, but the in-form forward has been included for next week's fixtures.
Costa is one of three Blues players to feature in the 22-man squad, with Cesar Azpilicueta and Cesc Fabregas also being included by Del Bosque.
Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla and Manchester City playmaker David Silva could also play a part as Spain look to maintain their positive start to the campaign.
