Chelsea striker Diego Costa has not been included in the Spain squad for their upcoming Euro 2016 qualifier against Luxembourg.
The 26-year-old has scored just one Premier League goal this season and is currently serving a three-match ban for violent conduct.
Spain boss Vicente del Bosque has opted against including Costa in his team, but there are places for Celta Vigo's Nolito and Bayern Munich's Thiago Alcantara, who has fully recovered from an injury.
Costa's teammates Cesar Azpilicueta and Pedro have been included in the squad, as has Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata.
