Ahead of Sunday's FA Cup tie between Chelsea and Sheffield Wednesday, Sports Mole looks at how Maurizio Sarri's side could line up at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea head into their FA Cup fourth-round encounter with Sheffield Wednesday on the back of reaching the EFL Cup final earlier this week.

The Blues found themselves facing a deficit ahead of the second leg with Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge, but Maurizio Sarri watched his side register a 2-1 triumph before emerging victorious on penalties.

The win has set up a February showdown with Manchester City, but the result also adds another match to an already hectic fixture schedule for the West Londoners.

That will lead to Sarri making a number of changes on Sunday evening, and here Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up against the Championship side.

Out: Marco van Ginkel (knee)
Doubtful: Andreas Christensen (hamstring), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (back)

Chelsea completed the loan signing of Juventus forward Gonzalo Higuain earlier this week, and the Argentine is likely to be handed a starting role in the game versus the Owls.

Eden Hazard could be rested and Pedro is expected to drop down to the substitutes' bench, leaving Willian and Callum Hudson-Odoi to come into the team on either flank.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has returned to training after a back injury although it is unlikely that the England international will be risked from the start, but Ethan Ampadu should come into the side to replace Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic is likely to be preferred to Ross Barkley.

Sarri will hope to have Andreas Christensen available after a minor hamstring injury, while Marcos Alonso should come back into the team at the expense of Emerson Palmieri.

Davide Zappacosta should replace Cesar Azpilicueta providing that the right-sided player is not in line for a January exit, and goalkeeper Willy Caballero will take the place of Kepa Arrizabalaga between the sticks.
