Chelsea will be looking to bounce back from their shock home defeat at the hands of struggling West Ham United when they welcome Aston Villa to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.
Frank Lampard's side slumped to a second successive Premier League defeat against their London rivals on Saturday and could now lose three top-flight games in a row for the first time since November 2015.
It is only one win in their last five games across all competitions too, leaving the Blues in growing need of a return to winning ways.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up their latest injury and suspension news ahead of the contest.
Antonio Rudiger
Status: Out
Type of injury: Pelvis
Possible return date: December 10 (vs. Lille)
Antonio Rudiger has now recovered from the injury which has kept him out since September and limited him to only one Premier League appearance this season, but he must build his fitness before returning to the first team and is still at least a week away from that.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
Status: Out
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: December 14 (vs. Bournemouth)
Ruben Loftus-Cheek has missed the entire season so far but is closing in on his return, with a Premier League clash against Bournemouth later this month pencilled in as a possible date.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Illness
Possible return date: December 7 (vs. Everton)
Having made headlines off the pitch in recent weeks, Ross Barkley has been unable to redeem himself on the field due to an ankle injury. That issue now appears to have cleared up, but he will miss this match due to illness.
Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Hip
Possible return date: December 4 (vs. Aston Villa)
Tammy Abraham missed the defeat to West Ham after being stretchered off against Valencia, although his hip issue is understood to be less serious than first feared. Lampard revealed on Monday that he would be closely assessed ahead of this match to determine whether he will be fit.
Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown
A forgotten man at Chelsea, Van Ginkel has endured a hellish recovery from an ACL injury but recently returned to training after a year-and-a-half on the sidelines. A return to action still appears to be some way off for the man who made his last Chelsea appearance in 2013, though.
