Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's Premier League fixture against Bournemouth.
Sports Mole

Chelsea return to action on Sunday afternoon when they square off against Bournemouth in their final match of the Premier League season.

On Wednesday night, the Blues made it four successive victories as they recorded a 2-1 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium.

As a result, Mauricio Pochettino's side can secure sixth place in the standings with a point at Stamford Bridge, but they face a Bournemouth side who are bidding to extend their best-ever points total in the division.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown with the Cherries.

Robert Sanchez

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Unspecified
Possible return date: May 15 (vs. Bournemouth)

Robert Sanchez was again absent from the ranks to face Brighton and Pochettino admitted at a press conference earlier this week that he is unlikely to return before the end of the season.

Enzo Fernandez

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hernia
Possible return date: Unknown

Having undergone surgery on a hernia issue, Enzo Fernandez will not return to the squad before the end of the season.

Wesley Fofana

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

The hapless Wesley Fofana remains glued to the treatment table due to his serious knee injury and Pochettino has conceded he does not envisage the Frenchman returning before the end of the season.

Romeo Lavia

Status: Out
Type of injury: Thigh
Possible return date: Unknown

Romeo Lavia's debut season at Chelsea will end with just one appearance to his name, as the Belgian is nursing a severe thigh problem and has already been ruled out until the 2024-25 season.

Mykhaylo Mudryk

Status: Out
Type of injury: Head
Possible return date: Unknown

Mykhaylo Mudryk was forced off during the first half against Brighton due to a head injury sustained in a aerial tussle with Tariq Lamptey. Pochettino has already acknowledged that the winger must now observe concussion protocols and will miss Sunday's match.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Reece James

How many games?: Four

Having been sent off for his reaction to a challenge from Joao Pedro on Wednesday night, Reece James was sent off. As a result of also being dismissed earlier in the campaign, the right-back will now serve a four-game ban that will carry over to next season.
