Ross Barkley has played a little over an hour for Chelsea Under-23s against Derby County Under-23s on his comeback from a hamstring injury.
The England international hopeful has endured an injury-plagued campaign, seeing him restricted to just three appearances in all competitions.
Barkley has yet to feature for the full 90 minutes since arriving at Stamford Bridge from Everton in January, with his last outing coming two months ago against Bournemouth.
As part of his latest comeback, the £15m signing played 63 minutes for Chelsea's development side as they beat their Derby counterparts 3-0 in the Midlands on Saturday afternoon.
Prior to being replaced by George McEachran, Barkley managed a couple of shots on target but could not find a way through on goal.
