Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been forced off after just 34 minutes of his side's World Cup qualifier with Bulgaria this evening due to injury.
The reigning PFA and FWA Footballer of the Year pulled up with a hamstring problem while his side led 1-0 in Sofia and was quickly replaced by Adrien Rabiot.
The extent of the injury has not yet been revealed, but Kante will now be a doubt for France's qualifier at home to Belarus on Tuesday.
Should the damage be serious then the 26-year-old could also miss some key matches for Chelsea, with the Premier League champions due to face Crystal Palace on Saturday before hosting Roma on Wednesday.
Chelsea currently sit fourth in the Premier League table, six points behind the leading Manchester clubs.
