Aston Villa defender Jordan Amavi has been handed a call-up to the France squad.
Amavi is currently contracted to the Championship side, but the left-back is spending the season on loan at Marseille, where he has already made six appearances this season.
The 23-year-old's form for the Ligue 1 side has resulted in a surprise inclusion in Didier Deschamps's group of players for the World Cup qualifiers with Bulgaria and Belarus.
Amavi has moved closer to a debut for his national team due to an injury to Paris Saint-Germain's Layvin Kurzawa, who has sprained a knee ligament.
The player has previously represented France at Under 18, Under-20 and Under-21 levels.
