Midfielder N'Golo Kante has returned to Chelsea after picking up an injury while representing France on Wednesday evening.

Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has been forced to withdraw from the France squad with a hamstring injury.

Kante has been producing his best form of the season under Thomas Tuchel, making 12 appearances in all competitions since the German's arrival in January.

However, the 29-year-old now faces the prospect of a period on the sidelines after pulling out of his national team's upcoming two fixtures.

Despite completing the 90 minutes versus Ukraine on Wednesday evening, Kante suffered discomfort at the end of the 1-1 draw in Paris.

The player will spend the upcoming days in the treatment room in a bid to recover for Chelsea's next fixture, a Premier League meeting with West Bromwich Albion on April 3. body check tags ::
