Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly suffered a fresh injury setback that will keep him out of Chelsea's midweek EFL Cup tie against Liverpool.
The England international was back on the bench for the Blues for last week's Europa League tie with PAOK, having not previously been involved since the 2-0 win over Bournemouth on September 1.
Loftus-Cheek did not enter the field in Greece, though, and The Telegraph claims that he will not be included in Chelsea's squad to face Liverpool at Anfield on Wednesday evening.
An ongoing complaint led to the academy product receiving an injection prior to Sunday's stalemate with West Ham United, keeping him out for around a week.
Maurizio Sarri has yet to start Loftus-Cheek in a single game, with Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley his favoured options alongside N'Golo Kante and Jorginho in a midfield three.
