Defender David Luiz has suffered a knock during training with Chelsea, just days after being dropped from the first-team squad to face Manchester United.
On Sunday, Luiz was a surprise omission as Chelsea registered a 1-0 win over United and after the match, head coach Antonio Conte appeared to question the Brazilian's future in West London.
The 30-year-old now appears to have sustained a further blow by picking up an injury in training, with The Mirror showing the centre-back receiving treatment on a knee problem.
After not being selected by his national team, Luiz is one of only a few first-team players still training at Cobham during the international break.
Earlier this week, a report suggested that Real Madrid were monitoring Luiz's situation at Stamford Bridge ahead of a possible approach during the January transfer window.
