Chelsea captain John Terry has revealed that he is undergoing platelet rich plasma therapy to help him recover from an Achilles injury.
The former England international has been absent from the Blues' last two games with the injury, which is likely to keep him sidelined for a further two or three weeks.
The centre-back had only just returned from a six-game spell on the treatment table with a hamstring problem when he suffered a fresh injury.
On Instagram, the 35-year-old insisted that he is "working hard" to get himself back on the pitch.
Alongside a picture of himself in surgical scrubs, Terry wrote: "PRP Being injured is the most frustrating thing as a player. Working hard to get back fit."
