Phil Babb has claimed that former club Liverpool will be up against a "wounded tiger" when they face Chelsea in the second leg of their League Cup semi-final tonight.
The two sides meet at Stamford Bridge with the tie level at 1-1 after last week's encounter at Anfield.
Following Chelsea's shock defeat to Bradford City in the FA Cup on Saturday, Babb believes that Jose Mourinho's men will be "pumped up" for this evening's clash.
"It's always difficult to play Chelsea, but particularly after that result which shocked the football world," he told Sky Sports News. "They're a wounded tiger.
"Jose will have those boys pumped up for tonight, and he will not expect anything other than a victory. He'll have the big-hitters back as well - he rested nine at the weekend, so it's going to be a formidable task for Liverpool, that's for sure."
Chelsea are currently five points clear at the top of the Premier League table, while Liverpool sit in eighth position.
