Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has praised Bristol City after the Championship side shocked Manchester United to reach the EFL Cup semi-finals.
Korey Smith's injury-time strike gave the Robins a 2-1 win at Ashton Gate, knocking the holders out of the competition at the quarter-final stage.
The result sees Bristol City in the last four of the EFL Cup since the 1988-89 season, with a tie against Manchester City awaiting Lee Johnson's side.
Conte, whose side reached the semis with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth, told reporters: "It's a great achievement.
"You must pay attention in every game. These cups are very good for these types of surprise.
"I knew the final result in the changing room. It's a surprise but in England it's difficult to face every team."
Chelsea will take on Arsenal in the other semi-final tie of the 2017-18 competition.
