West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has praised his players for the way they executed their gameplan during their 2-1 win over Chelsea in the League Cup.
The Hammers boss hailed his side for the way they defended and kept the ball during the fourth-round tie.
"I can't say we were perfect but we had a plan and the guys executed it in a great way. We were good in defending as a unit. We were really good in keeping the ball and stretching them and playing wide," BBC Sport quotes Bilic as saying.
"In the first half it was great and I think we deserved to be more than one up."
Bilic also addressed the crowd trouble which marred the game and was quick to condemn the actions of those involved.
"I noticed [the trouble] but I wasn't watching it so I really don't know what happened," he added. "The game was on. Whatever happened it's a shame and as a club and a team we are totally against it of course."
West Ham will travel to Manchester United in the next round of the League Cup.
