Gooood afternoon everyone! Just the three 3pm kickoffs this Saturday in the Premier League and here we're all over the match between Bournemouth and Chelsea.

With just under an hour until kickoff on the South coast, the team news has just come in. Let's have it...

Okey doke, let's start with the home side. Eddie Howe has made two changes to his Bournemouth side from last Sunday's 2-1 defeat at home to Liverpool. Matt Ritchie and Max Gradel drop out, with Marc Pugh and Lewis Grabban in. Ritchie moves to the bench, while Gradel is missing altogether having picked up a knock in training.

Callum Wilson, still working his way back from a serious knee injury, again has to settle for a place on the bench and he's joined there by Benik Afobe, who has been out for a month with a hamstring option. Good attacking options to have on the bench!

As for the visitors, Hiddink has made three changes from last Saturday's 3-0 defeat at home to Manchester City. Thibaut Courtois was sent off in that game and has to serve a two-game ban, so Asmir Begovic starts in goal. Elsewhere, Gary Cahill and Ruben Loftus-Cheek are replaced by Nemanja Matic and Eden Hazard.

With no Cahill, John Terry or Kurt Zouma, it looks like John-Obi Mikel is going to partner Branislav Ivanovic at the heart of defence. Neither is usually a centre-back, so it will be interesting to see how they cope today. For Hazard, it is his first appearance in six weeks because of a thigh problem. Today will be his 27th league appearance of the season and still he is yet to score!

A win for the Cherries today would draw them level on points with last year's champions and even though Chelsea have disappointed massively this term, that is still some achievement for Howe and his team in what is the club's first-ever season at this level.

STAT: Even if Chelsea win their remaining five games of the season, their maximum points tally will be 59, the lowest by a reigning top-flight league champion since Leeds United had 51 points in 1992-93. Tut tut!

It's hard to imagine that Chelsea will manage that total though given their current form. Guus Hiddink lost his 14-match unbeaten league run at Swansea earlier this month and then followed that up with a 3-0 defeat at home to City last weekend. Interestingly, both of those defeats came after the confirmation that Antonio Conte would manage the Blues next season. Not a good sign!

Hiddink has said that some of his players' minds are already on Euro 2016, while Brazilian winger Willian has expressed his desire to play in both the Copa America and Olympic Games this summer, which would likely see him miss the start of next season. Going to be an interesting summer with no hope of Champions League football next year. Who will Conte be able to get in?

Another defeat today would make it the first time since 2000-01 that Chelsea have lost both home and away against a newly-promoted side in a single Premier League season (vs. Charlton Athletic).

H2HThat's because the reverse in December went the Cherries' way at Stamford Bridge. It was 0-0 after 80 minutes, but then Bournemouth striker Glenn Murray came off the bench and scored after just 97 seconds to snatch a late victory. However, Bournemouth have failed to score in three of their last five matches against the Blues, netting just three goals in total.

UPDATE: One early kickoff in the top flight that has just finished at the Etihad. Man City scored three against Chelsea last week and they've gone one better today by thumping Stoke City 4-0. Read our on-the-whistle report here.

Chelsea have just confirmed on their Twitter account that Cahill is missing today because of illness. Doesn't sound too serious.

So Chelsea have lost back-to-back games, but Bournemouth aren't in any better form at the moment. The Cherries have lost three out of four, but those three losses were against big boys Spurs, Man City and Liverpool. They face another big name today, but Chelsea are weaker than the aforementioned trio.

The Cherries failed to score in the two defeats against Spurs and Man City and had to wait until added time to get a consolation through Joshua King against Liverpool. The Norwegian has scored in four of his last six Premier League appearances for Bournemouth, after netting just two goals in his opening 21 top-flight appearances in 2015-16.

Bournemouth are hoping to avoid three straight home league defeats for the first time in over three years today, but most of their defeats this season have been against top-half sides. Chelsea are just in the top 10, but Bournemouth have been pretty good against the teams in and around them in the table this season, with only three of their 15 defeats coming against bottom-half sides. Two of those were in the opening month of the season as well, so since then it has been so impressive from Howe's men.

PREDICTION: Righto, just 10 minutes until kickoff now. I'm hoping that this will be an entertaining game, with both sides not having much to lose at this stage of the campaign – I'll go 2-2.

UPDATE: Goal already at Anfield as Daniel Sturridge puts Liverpool in front against Rafael Benitez's Newcastle!

Not much has happened yet here, though. King just got in down the right but his cutback was cleared away by Mikel, who initially played the in-form forward onside. Bournemouth will hope to take advantage of Mikel's inexperience at centre-back today.

Where did that come from! Bournemouth had a couple of dangerous crosses down one end but then suddenly they fall behind! Chelsea break forward and it's Spanish trio Costa, Fabregas and Pedro who link up, with the latter finishing really smartly with a dinked effort after being played in by Fabregas.

No clean sheet in seven matches now for Bournemouth and they might struggle to score today as Chelsea have conceded just three goals away from home under Hiddink.

Bournemouth haven't done too well since conceding. Before the goal they were the team doing all the pressing, but Pedro's opener seems to have boosted Chelsea and they are more comfortable at the moment.

Matic robs the ball from Grabban and surges down the left before cutting the ball back into a perfect area, but Costa has just run ahead of the pass.

CHANCE! Much better from Bournemouth as they work a clever short corner that King fires over from 15 yards. Tough first-time chance, but he would hope to keep it down.

MISS! The Cherries should be level! Begovic spills a corner and the ball drops to Cook about eight yards out, but he volleys over when it looked easier to score. Dear me!

Neat skill from Hazard before his cross is chested out by Cook for Chelsea's first corner. The resulting delivery is headed away from danger.

Great wing play from Pugh as he manages to dig over a cross from the byline that Grabban can't quite direct goalwards. He didn't time his jump quite right and was only able to head up into the air, with Begovic able to claim easily.

As things stand, Chelsea are due to climb up to eighth, but they're not closing the gap to Southampton in seventh as they are winning 1-0 at Villa thanks to a Shane Long goal.

Elphick slides in on Costa to give Chelsea a free kick 30 yards out. Willian steps aside so that Ivanovic can hit it, but the Serbian's effort is poor. Doubt he'll get another go today.

Down the other end it's Bournemouth with a half-chance as the ball breaks Pugh's way but he hits it high into the air and over the bar. Begovic still yet to be really tested.

If Pugh's effort was bad, then this is even worse from Baba as he almost hits the ball out of the ground from the left wing. Chelsea made and took their goal really well, but apart from that the standard has been pretty poor.

SAVES! Begovic with some work to do now as first he parries Grabban's cross-cum-shot out for a corner before King's looping header was stopped by the Bosnian.

CLOSE! Bournemouth are having most of their joy down the right and they go close here as Stanislas crosses from Grabban, whose header had a lot of power but was directed wide of the mark.

Not any more! Chelsea double their lead and it's a first league goal of the season for Hazard as he collects Fabregas's lovely flick before firing past Boruc at the near post from 20 yards.

That was quick! Bournemouth pull one back almost straight away as Elphick's header from a corner goes into the ground and sneaks into the far corner. Game on!

Hazard's goal was his first in the league for 356 days! Just shy of a year since his last top-flight strike.

CLOSE! Willian fires wide at one end before Grabban spurns a great chance at the other by firing straight at Begovic from about 12 yards. End-to-end stuff as half time approaches!

Update on the other two matches, which are both now 2-0. Sturridge and Lallana have Liverpool in control against Newcastle, while Long and Tadic have scored for Southampton at relegated Villa.

SHOT! So open at the moment! Hazard's cross fails to find a teammate but then Bournemouth come forward once again. Stanislas finds space on the edge of the box and fires just off target. Begovic was worried.

CHANCE! Big chance for Chelsea to score a third. Pedro has the ball on the right side of the box and cuts back past two challenges before getting the ball a little stuck under his feet and firing over.

Two minutes added on before the break. Bournemouth just had a penalty shout but East said that Mikel got the ball. Close call!

It's Chelsea who lead here then after a half that got better and better as it went on. Plenty of chances, but Chelsea have been the more clinical and goals from Pedro and Hazard have them in front. We'll be back soon for the second half, don't go anywhere!

KICKOFF! Bournemouth get us back underway on the South coast.

No changes from either manager at the break, but both have plenty of attacking options with Wilson, Afobe, Falcao and Pato among the substitutes.

Not much going on at the start of the second half here. Daniels just tried his luck from distance for Bournemouth, but his shot sailed well over the top.

CLOSE! Baba had a quiet first half and rarely got forward down the left, but he's almost set up Chelsea's third here with a low cross that was just too far ahead of the sliding Costa.

Fabregas pounces on a loose ball and shoots at goal, but his effort is blocked and bobbles wide. Chelsea the slightly better of the two since half time.

Bournemouth really haven't got going in the second half. Chelsea are doing all the pressing and they've just threatened again with a Pedro shot that was deflected over the top.

Couple of superb bits of defending by the Bournemouth backline as first Costa's shot is blocked before Cook manages to backheel the ball away from danger when it looked like it would beat him.

BOURNEMOUTHS SUBS: Double-change up top as Afobe and Wilson replace King and Grabban. It's the first time that the former two have played together, could be exciting!

SHOT! Stanislas might have expected to come off, but he stayed on and almost equalises here with a fierce shot that just misses the target.

CHANCE! Hazard makes a real mess by trying to wait and wait when he should have shot. The Belgian was played in by a fabulous Fabregas flick.

This time they do score and that should be game over. It's Fabregas with his third assist of the match as he rolls in Willian and the Brazilian finishes coolly over Boruc.

With that assist, Fabregas is now third on his own in the all-time Premier League list of providers.

Francis with an inviting cross from the right, but it's just too high for Wilson and Begovic manages to pluck it out of the air.

Bournemouth responded really quickly when Chelsea took a two-goal lead in the first half, but they aren't offering much at the moment. Looks like it's going to be four defeats in five.

BOURNEMOUTH SUB: Ritchie replaces Stanislas down the Cherries' right. Chelsea yet to make a change, interestingly.

CHELSEA SUB: Hiddink makes his first change and it's Loftus-Cheek on for Willian, who was hobbling a little as he made his way off the field.

Costa tumbles in the box and looks up hopefully towards East, but the ref is having none of it.

BOOKING! We almost made it without a yellow card. Ritchie goes into the book for an overzealous challenge on Fabregas, who certainly wasn't happy with that.

No goals in 29 league games and now two in one day! It's lovely again from Fabregas as he flicks the ball through to Matic. The Serbian does really well to get to the byline and cross for Hazard to sidefoot home on the volley.

There were five minutes of added time, by the way, so not much more to go.

It's Chelsea who get back to winning ways then. Fabregas, with three assists, was the star player, but Hazard will probably write the headlines having scored twice to end his 29-match wait for a Premier League goal. Chelsea are up to ninth, while Bournemouth stay 13th and miss the chance to draw level on points with last year's champions.
