Chelsea midfielder Jorginho is not holding discussions with the Champions League holders over a new contract at Stamford Bridge, according to his agent Joao Santos.
The Italy international has again been an important player for the Blues this season, making 18 appearances in all competitions, scoring four times and providing one assist in the process.
Jorginho's current deal in London is due to expire in June 2023, and there have been suggestions that Chelsea plan to hold discussions with the midfielder over an extension.
However, the midfielder's agent has said that talks between the two parties are not currently taking place.
"We're not in talks to extend the current deal with Chelsea. He's still under contract until June 2023 - maybe we'll open talks in the next months," Santos told TuttoMercatoWeb.
A mistake from Jorginho led to Jadon Sancho scoring for Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon, but the Italian later levelled the scores from the penalty spot to earn his team a point. body check tags ::
