Former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has lost his first game as player-manager of Shanghai Shenhua.
The Frenchman, along with his coaching staff and teammates, was booed off the field by the club's supporters after suffering a 1-0 defeat at home to Tianjin Teda.
The 33-year-old was handed his new role yesterday after just four months playing for the club.
Shenhua have only amassed four points from their last six matches, leaving the Chinese side in the bottom five of the Super League.
