Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has insisted that his side were never in crisis following Saturday's win over Fulham in the Premier League.
The Blues went into the match at Stamford Bridge on the back of two consecutive defeats, but they avoided a third straight loss as they beat their local rivals 2-0.
"Two dodgy results back-to-back got everyone talking," Cahill told the club's official website.
"When you are a big team and you lose two games it gets talked about as a crisis. It was not ideal but we didn't feel that way."
Chelsea return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Swindon Town in round three of the Capital One Cup.
