Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has admitted that he is grateful that the club have the chance to win the European Super Cup after losing to Atletico Madrid last year.
The Blues were thrashed 4-1 by the Spanish side, and ahead of tonight's fixture with Bayern Munich, Cech is eyeing an improved performance.
The 31-year-old told reporters: "We are glad that, after the Super Cup last year when we didn't play well and we rightly lost against Atletico Madrid, we have another chance this year.
"We are one of the favourites to win the Champions League this season, and with the new coach comes new motivation, but it is the same with us.
"We would like to forget about last year's Super Cup and have a different story this time."
