Chelsea are allegedly the frontrunners to sign Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain after offering the Argentine a contract at Stamford Bridge.
The Blues are joined by AC Milan in registering their interest in the forward, who is reportedly on the fringes of his side's squad after Cristiano Ronaldo's arrival in Turin.
According to The Mirror, Chelsea have offered Higuain a £120,000-per-week contract, which is £40,000 more than the wages offered by Milan.
The newspaper adds that Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is keen to wrap up a deal which would see the pair reunite after working together previously at Napoli.
Higuain has scored 111 goals in 177 Serie A appearances with both Napoli and Juve.
