Chelsea have reportedly offered Napoli the chance to take striker Michy Batshuayi on loan, with the deal including an option to buy at the end of the season.
The Belgian international has not featured in any of the Blues' opening three Premier League games so far, with Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham being Frank Lampard's favoured men up top.
Batshuayi recently insisted that he was keen to fight for his place in the Chelsea squad this term, but according to journalist Dario Sarnataro, who spoke to Italian radio station Radio Marte, the forward will be offered to Serie A side Napoli in a loan deal.
The reporter added that Chelsea will pay a portion of the player's wages as part of the deal, which will include the chance for Napoli to make the move permanent next summer.
Both sides learned who they will face in the group stages of the Champions League on Thursday, with Chelsea in Group H along with Ajax, Lille and Valencia and Napoli facing Liverpool, Red Bull Salzburg and Genk in Group E.
