Chelsea will reportedly offer former caretaker manager Avram Grant a role at the club if the team continues to struggle under interim boss Rafael Benitez.
Benitez took over from Roberto Di Matteo at Stamford Bridge on November 21, but the Spaniard has taken just two points from his opening three matches amid growing discontent from supporters.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich could be prepared to offer Grant an advisory position if the results don't change, according to The Guardian.
The Israeli was in charge of the Blues from September 2007 to May 2008 following the departure of Jose Mourinho.
