The Premier League match between Chelsea and Sunderland originally scheduled for Saturday, April 6 has been postponed.
The two clubs will now face each other 24 hours later on Sunday, April 7 due to Chelsea's involvement in the Europa League quarter-finals.
Chelsea will face Rubin Kazan on the Thursday, April 5 and have been given an extra day to recover before returning to domestic action.
"The Black Cats will now travel to Stamford Bridge on Sunday, April 7 for a 3pm kickoff, moving back 24 hours from the original scheduled game," read a statement on Sunderland's official website.
"The change comes due to Chelsea's involvement in the quarter-final of the UEFA Europa League, where they face Russian side Rubin Kazan on Thursday, April 5."
Chelsea currently sit third in the Premier League table, while Sunderland lie in 15th place, four points off the relegation zone.
