Christian Pulisic is confident he can fit right in at Chelsea under Maurizio Sarri.
The United States international will remain at Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season before completing his £57.7million move to Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The 20-year-old, whose contact with Dortmund was due to expire in 18 months, always had ambitions of playing in England and believes Sarri's Blues will prove a good match.
"I've always appreciated how they've played football, and it's really nice how they play now, with their new coach. It fits me very well," Pulisic said from Dortmund's warm weather training camp in Marbella.
Attacking midfielder Pulisic played against England at Wembley during November, but has not been a regular in the starting XI for Dortmund boss Lucien Favre in recent months.
The American joined Dortmund as a youth player in 2015 and has made more than 100 appearances for the club, who currently lead the Bundesliga by six points.
"It is good to know that people know about my future. I am really excited that I have the chance to be here (with Dortmund) for the rest of the season," Pulisic said.
"I hope people understand my decision and that I am here 100 per cent. I am very focused to finish out the season with Dortmund."
Pulisic added in an interview broadcast by Sky Sports: "I've had an amazing five years in Germany. It has been incredible and I am so thankful for that.
"But it has been a dream of mine (to play in England) and I am really excited for this move. I just feel it was the right time for me."
