Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole will reportedly join up with the England squad as normal next week, despite his recent outburst against the Football Association.
Doubts over Cole's inclusion in the Three Lions squad for their World Cup qualifiers against San Marino and Poland emerged after the defender called the FA a "bunch of twats" after an independent commission claimed that Cole had changed his statement regarding the John Terry racism case.
Despite his fury, England boss Hodgson is believed to have spoken to Cole via telephone and has told him to turn up to the squad as planned, according to Sky Sports News.
Cole later apologised for his remarks via his solicitors.
