Chelsea head coach Antonio Conte has said that it was "the best decision" for Tammy Abraham to spend a season on loan at Swansea City.
Since joining the Welsh outfit, Abraham has contributed four goals and one assist in 13 Premier League appearances, while the 20-year-old has also earned his first cap for England.
The forward is unable to face his parent club when the Blues and Swans lock horns on Wednesday night, but Conte feels that the youngster is "getting good experience" at the Liberty Stadium.
The 48-year-old told reporters: "I think to talk about Tammy now is very, very soon. For sure we are talking about a young player with a really good prospect for Chelsea's future.
"To go on loan was the best decision for him and the club. He is playing regularly and getting good experience."
Abraham is yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea since Conte's arrival ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
