Montreal Impact striker Didier Drogba has said that he is "not too hot" on the idea of returning to Chelsea as a player.
The 37-year-old striker has completed his first season with the MLS side and although he has not ruled out the possibility of training with the Premier League champions to retain his fitness, the Ivorian has said that it is unlikely that he will sign for Chelsea for a third time.
"To train? Why not? But it's something I would need to discuss with [Montreal], because I belong to them," Drogba told The National.
"Playing? I'm not too hot on that idea. I need to rest and make sure that I'm ready for the new season.
"I signed a one-and-a-half year contract. I always like to respect what I have signed."
Jose Mourinho has also said that Drogba will not return to Chelsea on loan.
