Eden Hazard: 'Chelsea desperate to beat Tottenham Hotspur'

Chelsea ace Eden Hazard admits that he wants to see Leicester City win the Premier League simply to stop Tottenham Hotspur ending their own long wait for top-flight glory.

Eden Hazard has admitted that Chelsea are desperate to end Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League title hopes when the two sides lock horns early next month.

Spurs are still in with a chance of ending their 55-year wait for top-flight glory, but they will likely have to pick up maximum points in each of their remaining four games.

Following Monday night's meeting with West Bromwich Albion, the Lilywhites then turn attention towards a huge London derby showdown with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Hazard is now backing current leaders Leicester City to go all the way, and is hoping to provide the killer blow to Tottenham's lingering hopes of success on May 2.

"We don't want Tottenham to win the Premier League, the fans, the club and the players," the Belgium international told the club's official website.

"In football you never know; we hope for Leicester because they deserve to be champions but we will see. We have a big game next week against Tottenham and if we can beat them it will be good."

Hazard found the net twice in Chelsea's 4-1 win over Bournemouth on Saturday for his first league goals of the campaign.
