Eden Hazard has hailed his Chelsea teammates for responding to Saturday's setback at Sunderland by beating Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 on Wednesday.
The Blues got back to winning ways in style following their goalless draw with the Black Cats, as Hazard, Didier Drogba and Loic Remy downed Spurs at Stamford Bridge.
Victory saw Jose Mourinho's side stay top of the Premier League table, six points clear of defending champions Manchester City, and the Belgian has no intention of surrendering top spot.
"It was important to win because we lost two points last week against Sunderland," he told reporters at full time.
"We want to stay on top. Today was a very good match, I think. We played very good. It was important. We have six points in front... and we want to stay there."
Chelsea travel to Newcastle United on Saturday.
