Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has claimed that he remains "friends" with his former Barcelona teammates after he faced them in a pre-season friendly in Washington DC on Wednesday.
The Spaniard went up against the Catalan giants for the first time since leaving Camp Nou for Stamford Bridge last summer.
The Blues won the International Champions Cup game 4-2 on penalties after drawing 2-2 in normal time.
After the match, Fabregas posted a photo of himself sharing a joke with Barca's Gerard Pique, and added the caption: "Great game of football last night. It was nice to see all my friends again. Thank you everyone for supporting us during our tour. #CFCtour #backhome."
Fabregas will face another of his former clubs, Arsenal, in this Sunday's Community Shield at Wembley.
