Jose Mourinho returned to Chelsea's training ground on Friday to say goodbye to his former playing squad.
The Portuguese, who was relieved from his post on Thursday, was allowed back into Cobham for a final address to the players.
According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho's final speech was an "emotional farewell" in which he "reminded them of what it took to be winners last season" and "wished them well and thanked them for their support last year".
A number of Chelsea players reacted to the news of Mourinho's departure by posting tributes across social media, with captain John Terry labelling him "the very best I have ever worked with" and Cesc Fabregas predicting that he would "be back soon".
Guus Hiddink is currently in talks with the London club about taking charge on an interim basis until the end of the season.
