Jose Mourinho's representatives have reportedly been in contact with Paris Saint-Germain regarding a potential move to Ligue 1 in the event that Chelsea part ways with their manager.
Reports have been circling suggesting that the club could sack the Portuguese coach in the coming weeks following Chelsea's torrid start to the season.
The defending English champions have won just three games out of 10 Premier League fixtures, while Mourinho has been in trouble with the Football Association a handful of times due to comments that he has made about referees.
The latest breach of discipline came in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to West Ham United, where Mourinho was sent to the stands for confronting officials following Nemanja Matic's red card.
As a result of his actions, the 52-year-old has been charged with misconduct.
According to The Independent, should Chelsea sack their manager, Mourinho would be interested in replacing Laurent Blanc at PSG, and his representatives have also sounded out a potential return to Inter Milan.
The report adds that Mourinho's departure from Stamford Bridge could eventually come down to severance pay as his camp are keen for the club to hand over around £30m, which is what the manger's recent four-year contract is worth in full, but the club are reluctant.
