Frank Lampard has admitted that Chelsea's new signings will need to be given time to settle in at the club.
Brazilian midfielder Oscar completed his move to the European champions on Wednesday, with Eden Hazard and Marko Marin having already arrived at the club earlier this summer.
However, Lampard believes that it may take time for the new players to become comfortable with the rest of the squad.
The 33-year-old told the club's official website: "We proved to be a great team and a great unit in the second half of last season.
"This year maybe we are slightly different because we have more new young players coming in. There might not be the settled togetherness that we had on the pitch at that side because we had been together a long time."
Chelsea face the MLS All-Stars in the early hours of Thursday morning.
