Everton striker Romelu Lukaku believes that he is at the right place to further develop his fledgling career.
The Belgium international moved to Roberto Martinez's side on transfer deadline day on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season and scored the match-winner in his team's win over West Ham United.
Lukaku told The Mirror: "I'm here to help the team, the team is here to help me. Experienced players. I'm in the best place for my age – if we can combine our work together, we can have good results.
"At my age the most important thing is to play and develop. Everton gave me the opportunity so I'm very happy to be here.
"Chelsea is the future, the past at this moment, but maybe the future. We'll see at the end of this season."
Everton are sixth in the Premier League after five games this season.
