The Football Association has charged both Manchester City and Chelsea with failing to control their players in the Premier League game between the two clubs on Saturday afternoon.
During added-on time, a wild lunge by Sergio Aguero on David Luiz sparked a mass brawl with numerous players from both sides getting involved as tensions boiled over in the North-West.
After Aguero was sent off, Fernandinho followed for pushing Cesc Fabregas over an advertising board, while Fabregas and Nathaniel Chalobah were both booked for their parts in the incident.
Aguero has since been handed a four-match suspension but the FA has acted further by punishing both clubs for failing to control their players.
Both City and Chelsea have until 6pm on Thursday, December 8 to respond to the charge.
