Chelsea's Juan Mata has said that Fernando Torres will start scoring goals again soon.
The former Liverpool striker started up front alongside Mata for Spain as they defeated the Czech Republic 2-0 in their most recent Euro 2012 qualifier, but failed to get on the scoresheet once again.
However, Mata, who put the ball in the back of the net after just seven minutes, believes that it is just a matter of time before the 27-year-old begins to rediscover his goalscoring form.
"Torres has done what the coach asked him to do and played well," Mata told Marca.
"The goals are a matter of runs and I'm sure he will make these soon. Torres is a great player and a great person."
Mata, 23, joined Chelsea for a fee of around £23m this summer.
