Ex-Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi has reignited his long-running feud with Rafael Benitez by suggesting that the Spaniard was to blame for Chelsea's Club World Cup defeat to Corinthians.
The Blues lost 1-0 in Yokohama, ending Europe's six-year stranglehold on the trophy.
Materazzi has been highly critical of Benitez in the past, having reportedly fallen out with the 52-year-old tactician during his ill-fated stint at the San Siro.
The 39-year-old also claimed that Benitez had nothing to do with the Nerazzurri's triumph in Abu Dhabi two years ago.
"My son is crying for Chelsea," Materazzi posted on Twitter.
"What an achievement we managed in Abu Dhabi... we were able to win without a coach! I had told you..."
Benitez was sacked as Inter coach after less than six months in charge.
