Nemanja Matic has insisted that Chelsea are "prepared" for today's Community Shield encounter against London rivals Arsenal.
The champions have faced the New York Red Bulls, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona in pre-season so far this summer, but they are yet to taste victory.
However, despite those negative results, Serbian midfielder Matic has stressed that the matches have helped the Blues to get ready for the encounter at Wembley this afternoon.
"We have prepared ourselves well for the game against Arsenal," the 27-year-old told the club's official website.
"In pre-season we had three games against good teams. The game against Barcelona in particular was a good opportunity to show that we are prepared.
"We know what we can expect against Arsenal. It's going to be a difficult game but it's always a special day when you play at Wembley."
Chelsea have won the Shield on four previous occasions, the most recent of which came back in 2009 when they defeated Manchester United 4-1 on penalties.
