Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has claimed that his teammate Eden Hazard needs to be regularly scoring in order to improve his "self-belief".
The Belgian international, who was named PFA Player of the Year at the end of last season, took six games to get off the mark in the Premier League in this campaign.
In stoppage time of the Blues' clash against Arsenal at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, Hazard scored his 50th goal for the club, which took a major deflection off Calum Chambers.
"He needs to score goals for his confidence and to be on his top level," Matic told London Evening Sport. "I hope it gives him more self-belief.
"He needs to know that he is the best player in the Premier League and use his qualities. When he scored it was an important moment in the season for him."
The match ended in a 2-0 victory for the defending English champions.
