Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has praised the professionalism of Luis Suarez to have not sulked over seeing a summer move away from Liverpool fail to materialise.
The Uruguay international was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal throughout the last transfer window, with the Reds knocking back a £40m bid for the striker - a resistance which has since paid dividends with the 26-year-old hitting 19 league goals already.
Consequently, Liverpool sit fourth in the Premier League table and Mourinho describes the attitude of Suarez as "magnificent" under the circumstances of his form.
Speaking to the club's official website ahead of the visit of Brendan Rodgers's men, Mourinho said: "Every player is different and every player has his own personality.
"It happens a lot in the summer, players want to leave and after that it depends on them when they are forced to stay; it depends on them whether they will have revenge by not performing, not being committed.
"Ever since Suarez was forced to stay, I think his answer was magnificent. You can see his motivation."
This afternoon's clash at Stamford Bridge is expected to kick off at 4pm.
