Jose Mourinho's right-hand man, Jose Morais, has reportedly emerged as a contender for the vacant Swansea City manager's job.
Morais left Chelsea earlier this week with Mourinho following the champions' worst-ever defence of a Premier League title and could now be ready to try his hand at management.
According to The Sun, the 50-year-old has had discussions with Swans chairman Huw Jenkins and jumped ahead of former Athletic Bilbao boss Marcelo Bielsa in the running to succeed Garry Monk, who was sacked earlier this month.
Swansea dropped into the relegation zone without playing a game today as Norwich City stunned Manchester United at Old Trafford and Newcastle United drew 1-1 with bottom side Aston Villa.
They can climb back out of the bottom three and above the aforementioned duo if they overcome West Ham United at the Liberty Stadium tomorrow.
