Chelsea assistant boss Eddie Newton has said that Roberto Di Matteo's future at the club is still unclear.
Di Matteo, who took over from former boss Andre Villas-Boas in March, led the Blues to triumph in both the FA Cup and Champions League this season. However, Newton insists that the Italian has still heard nothing.
"Nobody is telling us anything," he told the Daily Mail.
"The situation is that we're contracted to the end of the season, June 30. We all want what's best for Chelsea but we have no idea what the club thinks that is."
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have been linked with a move for Di Matteo if Chelsea decide to look elsewhere.
