Former Premier League referee Graham Poll has branded Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho "graceless" and "immature" following comments made after his side's defeat to Sunderland.
The Portuguese praised the performance of referee Mike Dean after he awarded the Black Cats a late penalty, which Fabio Borini converted to all but end the Blues' title hopes.
Poll feels that those comments about Dean were made sarcastically, but he has admitted that it will be hard for the FA to charge Mourinho due to the wording of the remarks.
He wrote in the Daily Mail: "It was a penalty, there is no conspiracy theory and Jose Mourinho is finally being seen for what he is, an excellent coach who is a graceless and immature man who needs to learn how to lose.
"At the end of the game Mourinho thought he was being 'clever' by complimenting Dean and then his boss, Mike Riley. All listening knew what he meant by the comments but the FA will struggle to charge on 'interpretation' of words and rising above such puerile antics is the best way to deal with them."
Chelsea assistant coach Rui Faria was sent to the stands following an outburst after Borini's strike at Stamford Bridge.
